How long does installation take?
A typical single-location installation takes 3–5 hours on-site; multi-screen storefronts or waiting rooms can take longer, and we scope that during your site visit. We schedule around your business hours so nothing disrupts operations.
Can I update the screens myself?
Yes. The content manager runs in any browser — phone or laptop. Change a promotion, upload a new menu, or schedule a limited-time offer in under 5 minutes. Or hand it off to our team.
Do the screens work with my existing menu or POS?
Our team maps your current menu or product list once. After that, price and item updates can sync from your SpotrOS POS to your menu boards automatically. If you’re on a different POS, we work with your team to keep them in step.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Screens continue playing the last-loaded schedule from local cache. Nothing goes blank because of a wifi hiccup. Once internet returns, they resync automatically.
I already have TVs — can I use them?
Often, yes. SpotrOS signage runs from our media player, so if your existing displays are in good shape and placed where customers can actually see them, we can frequently run the system on screens you already own — software-only setups are available. We’ll confirm fit during your consultation and tell you straight if an upgrade makes more sense.
Is this different from the Showcase Screen program?
Yes. Managed digital menu boards are part of the SpotrOS bundle you own and control. The Showcase Screen program is a separate selective venue-acquisition program where SpotrOS supplies the screen in exchange for shared ad-time. See the Showcase Screen page for eligibility.
